This special designated fund is in direct support of patients receiving care through Kline Galland Benaroya Community Services. The Schwartz-Alexander Unmet Needs Fund aims to support needs not supported by insurance or Medicare but would have a lasting impact on each recipient. Examples include travel subsidies to appointments or family visits for hospice patients. Additional examples include medical equipment and health services not covered by insurance and other essentials needed to enhance their quality of life.
Debra Schwartz was inspired to create this fund because of the outstanding care she received from Kline Galland’s staff and to honor her family for their unwavering support throughout her recovery. This generous gift is a tribute to her sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Bob Alexander, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Pam Schwartz. When Debra utilized the care of the Kline Galland Rehab/TCU program, her siblings and their spouses provided her with extra support to help navigate her needs, so she could focus on healing. Debra is grateful for her time spent at Kline Galland and wants to ensure that other people in need may have access to extra support when they can use it most.
